Deep black in colour, this LBV has a concentrated aroma of red and black fruit. Still very youthful, the grapes to produce this great LBV were handpicked, then fermented with foot treading in lagares. After fortification with grape brandy, the wine aged in inox tanks. 

The Vieira De Sousa family has been producing Port wine for at least for 5 generations, starting with Great Grandfather José Silvério Vieira De Sousa, who created Vieira de Sousa and started the Port Wine bottling business. The family at this time was producing all its Port wines from their own vineyards.
