Madame Veuve Point Bourgogne Chardonnay 2018 - This fine Chardonnay from France's famous Burgundy region initially seduces with a fresh nose of white flowers, flint and toasted notes. On the palate, an aromatic and full-bodied wine is revealed, with flavours of citrus and green apple, and a pleasant minerality. Can be served as an aperitif, but also works perfectly with seafood dishes, turkey and alongside a cheesboard with Brie, Vacherin Mont-d'Or, Saint-Nectaire or Beaufort.
Espiritu de Chile Explorador Sauvignon Blanc 2020 - This wine comes from a dramatic and beautiful area of Chile, in the Leyda Valley right by the Pacific ocean north of the capital Santiago. The cool, windy conditions here, combined with bright sunshine create a wine of lovely vibrancy and intense fruity flavours. Zesty citrus and lime fruits and some herbal character giving complexity and lots of length. Bracing and refreshing! Works fanatically well with fresh seafood or sushi.
Whispering Angel Cotes de Provence Rosé 2023 - This legendary Provençal pink boasts sun-kissed creamy flavours of peach and raspberry with refreshing citrus undertones and a smooth, dry finish. Winery owner Sacha Lichine is famously quoted: “In the Esclans Valley angels whisper. If you drink this wine, you might hear them.” This rosé is so heavenly to sip, we think he’s onto something.
Follador El Brolo Treviso Brut Prosecco D.O.C. - Class Prosecco from a top family estate, who have been producing wine since the 18th century in the heart of the Prosecco region near Venice. Quality focused, this wine exudes delicate citrus and grapey flavours - and with oodles of bubbles!
Black Cottage Marlborough Pinot Noir 2020 - This wine is dark and brooding with aromas of forest floor, black cherry and chocolate-coated coffee bean. The palate has spicy, peppery notes with thyme, violets and a texture typical to Malborough's Southern Valleys. A juicy Pinot Noir, which would benefit from being decanted. Beautiful with rich foods such as venison or stilton-stuffed portobello mushrooms.
Care for Wild Arthur Syrah Viognier - A beautifully spicy and rich Syrah blended with just 3% of Viognier make this a really complex but delicious wine. The aromatic Viognier helps lift the peppery Syrah and creates an absolutely perfect wine for chicken and meat dishes, especially if they have a bit of spice or a herby stuffing.
