Gooseberries, limes and subtle cassis reveal its tropical character, while underlying notes of fynbos and a touch of white asparagus deliver serious depth. The palate is young and tropical, leading to a long, mineral finish that is fresh and crisp.
Spier Creative Block wines are a South African take on traditional Rhône and Bordeaux-style blends. Their winemakers carefully select grapes from different vineyard blocks, combining and blending taste profiles to create wines that are much greater than the sum of their parts. The Spier Creative Block range of blends takes its name from a Spier Arts project proudly supporting South African artists.

They build significant art collections for their patron partners through the administration of an ecosystem of career development opportunities for fine artists. These include, among others: Spier Arts Academy, Creative Block and Qaqambile Bead Studio.
The Creative Block, now curated by Tamlin Blake, represents more than 260 professional artists from across South Africa. Each unique artwork is an expression of an individual artist's story, subject matter and style. When displayed together, they create a rich expression of contemporary South African culture.
