A James Suckling 98 point-winner, this Goldlack is layered and intense.
Few Rheingau Rieslings can complete with this superb white, with its aromas of dried apricots and peaches intertwined with crushed stones and hint of smoke. On the palate, expect a satisfying creaminess that is balanced by a vibrant acidity and baking spice on the long, luxurious finish. The ultimate treat or wine lovers.

The notable Schloss Johannisberg winery, which overlooks Germany’s picturesque Rhine River, is synonymous with Riesling and makes some of the finest, most long-lived expressions of this noble grape variety. It is considered one of the most famed and historic estates in Germany, having first been founded as a wine-producing Benedictine Monastery in 1100. The winery changed hands many times over the following six centuries but took its first step towards quality viticulture in 1720, when it was entirely replanted with Riesling vines.
The grapes used to produce this outstanding wine come entirely from Schloss Johannisberg's late-ripening southwest facing vineyards. Grape must undegoes a long, slow fermentation process before being aged on lees for 24 months in the estate's cool cellars in barrels.
