This superb example of top quality Soave is characterised by lovely perfumes and great balance between ripe fruit and cool, elegant acidity. Intense yellow in colour, it has perfumes of honeysuckle and almonds, ripe but restrained fruit and a long, nutty finish.

Pieropan’s estate covers 30 hectares of vineyard, all of which are situated on the hills of the Soave Classico zone. The Pieropan family have been producing wines in Soave since the 1860s. Indeed, they were the first producer to bottle a wine with the name Soave on the label, in the early 1930s. Nino Pieropan took over from his father in the 1970, and now his two sons, Andrea and Dario work with him on the sales and winemaking side respectively. La Rocca is 100% Garganega from the La Rocca vineyard.
