A limited-production red from the award-winning Orube range. You'll find deep black fruit flavours that combine with hints of vanilla and cocoa derived from oak ageing. This powerful red is perfect to pair with spicy or full-flavoured foods such as red meats, strong cheeses, Iberian cured meats or game casseroles. There is keeping potential of around 5 years and we recommend decanting.

Orube Seleccion de Familia 2018 has evolved over the years and now sits in the highest echelon. The new vintage has been classified by the Regulatory Council of Rioja as a Vino de Laguardia, a new concept which demonstrates the importance of, and reflects the authenticity of the origin of this wine. Laguardia is a small medieval walled town located in the heart of Rioja Alavesa and has a special charm. In every glass of Orube Seleccion de Familia one can feel the influence of this extraordinary township, built in the foothills of the Sierra de Cantabria more than 9 centuries ago.
In addition, it has been certified as a vegan wine by the European Vegetarian Union.
This wine has a limited production of 13,168 bottles.
