A beautiful Haut-Médoc crafted from Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Franc, and Petit Verdot. The wine demonstrates notes of black fruits, cassis and ripe cherries. It is round and well-balanced on the palate. Pair it with a juicy steak or soft ripe cheeses.

<p>Charmail is located on the edge of the Gironde, which allows it to benefit from milder temperatures and to be sheltered from the severe winter frosts which can be damaging for the vines. From the property, one has an absolutely magnificent view.</p>
<p>The vineyard is made up of a single parcel that extends almost to the edge of the water. Some mornings, there is something magical about sunrise, between water, mist and vines.</p>
<p>The property also has a real topographical advantage. The rolling hills and the southern exposure contribute to the full ripening of the grapes, and the vines benefit from a gentle breeze which allows for regular ventilation of the foliage and the berries. This helps to increse the chances of a healthy crop of grapes.</p>
<p>One of the great Bordeaux oenologists, Hubert de Boüard works alongside families to share his passion for wine. He puts all his experience, know-how and expertise at the service of the property.</p>
