A classic Californian Pinot Noir, which opens with notes of black and red cherry, wild blackberry, blueberry and pomegranate. Deeper into the velvety-smooth palate, hints of anise and cola blend with suggestions of toast and barbeque smoke.
Approachable and balanced upon release, fine tannins and structure will allow for elegant aging over the next five to seven years.
This exquisite Pinot Noir pairs beautifully with grilled pork chops in barbeque sauce or a gourmet burger with blue cheese and caramelized onions.

Just south of Healdsburg, California in the heart of the Russian River Valley, you'll find J Vineyards and Winery, founded on plots of land selected for their remarkable soil and ideal cilmate for bringing fine wines to full perfection.
With head winemaker Nicole Hitchwork at the helm, a Viticulture and Oenology graduate from renowned Californian University U.C. Davis, J Vineyards encorporates many elements of Old World techniques and philosophies into its winemaking.
The grapes for this Pinot Noir were sourced from cool areas throughout the Russian River Valley growing region. They were hand-harvested, fermented for seven to 10 days using Burgundy yeast and the wine underwent malolactic fermentation in 100% French oak barrels, approximately 30% of which was new.
