This Anniversary Edition malt is an impressive feat of distillation, maturation and blending- the trinity of crafts through which great single malt Scotch Whisky is made. To celebrate an anniversary this special, Glenfarclas had to make something truly outstanding. Specially selected casks were chosen from the Glenfarclas stable, some up to 70 years old. These chosen barrels were married together for 2 years to create a whisky of astonishing harmony and complexity. The sweet, rich and buttery Glenfarclas house style forms the heart and soul of this magnificent malt, supported by the elegant tannins and nutty, leathery sherry notes gained by decades in oak. Decades in the making, this is one to savour.
