Full of red berry and plum notes. Bags of personality on the palate, with a hint of spiciness that makes it a great match for tomato-based dishes. Ideal accompaniment to braised beef, roast lamb and ratatouille.

The historic Domaine Les Goubert, currently in organic conversion, is located just outside Gigondas and has been run by the Goubert family for many generations. The oldest part of the winery dates back to 1636. Florence Cartier, the current winemaker, believes that great wines are made by terroir - with good soil and good exposure. The grape varieties produce better fruit and as a result better wine if vines are happy and develop serenely. Additionally, an ounce or two of know-how, tons of love for winemaking itself and infinite respect for the land also play their part.
