This Meursault has a golden colour in the glass. It has a complex aroma with floral notes (hawthorn, acacia, verbena), a mineral (flinty) character and citrus fruit and vanilla. With maturity this develops into hazelnut and honey notes. A rich, full bodied wine, this has ripe stone and citrus fruit flavours with a touch of oak and nutty and buttery elements. A great match with grilled shellfish, scallop fricassée, foie gras, veal and poultry in white sauce, and blue cheeses.
