Its mellow gold hue is a sign of its ageing. A creamy mousse and extremely fine bubbles. The nose reveals elegant and balanced notes of white flowers, peaches, almonds and delicate mineral notes. This 2015 vintage reveals an aromatic richness, an ideal balance and great finesse. The predominantly Chardonnay blend provides precision in the mouth and a perfect balance between freshness and minerality. The flavours are enticing with floral, light citrus, almond blossom notes and a finish revealing a nice minerality and salinity.
Food/Wine Pairings: For oenophiles, this is the gastronomic champagne per excellence, that will perfectly accompany the most refined cuisine, such as a richly sauced lobster.

Charles Mignon is a small family-owned Champagne House based in Epernay. Since 2003 they have been listed beside the greatest and most prestigious houses of champagne with UMC – the Union of Champagne Houses, pressing home the quality on offer from the excellent range. Owned by Bruno and Laurence Mignon; 5th generation, they run the progressive winery alongside their partners Manon and Guillaume. With family at it's heart, Charles Mignon Champagne is made with passion and dedication, with the wines offered at prices which are accessable to all. The Cuvée Comte de Marne is only ever made in the very best vintage years, and all grapes are souced from the first presses of the Grand Cru terroirs of the Montagne de Reims.
From the first presses, the Comte de Marne Cuvee Vintage 2015 was born of a blend between 72.5% of Chardonnay Grand Cru from the Côte des Blancs villages Avize and Chouilly and 27.5% of Pinot Noir Grand Cru of the Montagne de Reims villages Louvois and Bouzy. It is a blend made from exclusively from the 2015 harvest.
The grapes were picked at optimum maturity, giving the wine a tangy freshness that allows it to age for many years in the cellar. Vinification in small, temperature-controlled stainless steel vats promotes organoleptic diversity and reveals the exceptional character of the year. The slow secondary fermentation accompanied by prolonged ageing offers an ideal balance between finesse and structure. A low dosage of 6 g/L preserves the purity and subtlety of the vintage. Aged in our cellars at a constant temperature of 12° for 60 months.
