Intense and richly textured with notes of ripe black cherry, chocolate, vanilla, and smokey oak. This elegant wine is structured and fruit-forward with a lengthy finish.

The climate is partly continental and partly Mediterranean. In summer the temperature is mitigated by breezes coming from the Adriatic sea and the Balkans while in winter the area is protected from cold winds by the mountains to the north. This particular microclimate, with warm days and cool nights, is ideal for the production of firmly structured white wines and elegant red wines.
Barrel aging Merlot in French oak barrels adds complexity to the wine. It facilitates a slow and gradual oxygen exchange with the outside that allows the wine to evolve: proper oxygenation stabilizes the colour of the wine and softens its rough edges, decreasing the astringency of the tannins.
Elegant scents of dried flowers and jam’s fruit. Intense sensations coming from spicy and toasted notes of tobacco, black pepper, cloves, cinnamon, cardamom and nutmeg. Warm on the palate, full-bodied and pleasant, with velvet tannins. Persistent, fruity with an interesting toasted finish. Semidis is a wine ready to drink now but with an extraordinary aging potential.
