Gooseberries, limes and subtle cassis reveal its tropical character, while underlying notes of fynbos and a touch of white asparagus deliver serious depth. The palate is young and tropical, leading to a long, mineral finish that is fresh and crisp. Spier Creative Block wines are a South African take on traditional Rhone and Bordeaux-style blends. Their winemakers carefully select grapes from different vineyard blocks, combining and blending taste profiles to create wines that are much greater than the sum of their parts.
