Situated on the east coast of the North Island of New Zealand. Trinity Hill is a partnership between John Hancock, Robert and Robyn Wilson (owners of London’s Bleeding Heart and The Don restaurants) and Aucklanders Trevor and Hanne Janes. Three founding partners, hence the name “Trinity Hill”. Highly regarded for his all round abilities in both the cellar and vineyard, John Hancock has extensive experience in Australia, France and New Zealand.

 

 

Gentle flavours and aromas of lime, citrus and lemongrass complement the distinct aroma of stone fruit. A mineral element gives presence to a Sancerre-like textural character in the wine. The fresh acidity is balanced by a tiny amount of retained sweetness. This is a great wine to drink on its own or it would fit well with Asian style food or fresh shellfish. Asparagus would be sensational match. Serve lightly chilled.
