Ramping up a gear or two, this is quite different to our other Greek whites. An Assyrtiko and Semillon blend which is full flavoured with a richly fruited palate and obvious oak. Barrel-fermented, the oak is handled very well though and gives a classy feel to the wine - which could be mistaken for Meursault, albeit with an exotic edge! A musky nose, this has a backbone of fresh acidity which keeps things balanced and ensures the rich character isn't overpowering. The finish is long and pronounced with vanilla oak and peach fruit with a smoky edge. A really interesting and delicious style. Take to a dinner party to suprise and impress guests. Enjoy now to 2022.

"Subtle oak presence on the nose, creamy, touch of spice, so that the mineral and citrus notes show through. Piercing freshness and impressive length, via pure citrus fruit on the palate. Tightly structured within the richness of the barrel ferment. Very good balance of fruit and winemaking." 17.5 Points - JancisRobinson.com

"A classy style of wine blending Greece with Bordeaux, showing white flowers, gentle oak and stone fruit aromas. The elegant palate has lemon freshness and a silky texture." 95 Pts Gold - Decanter World Wine Awards 2017
