Victoria Rhubarb Gin takes its name from the rhubarb formerly grown in Queen Victoria’s Buckingham Palace garden. The farm where it is now grown is a Crown Estate previously owned by the current grower, who farms it to this day.
To produce Victoria Rhubarb gin, Warner Edwards use their Curiosity still (named after feline pawprints that appeared in the newly laid stillroom floor) to soften the plant and extract the juice through traditional pressing methods. The liquid is then combined with the original Harrington Dry Gin to produce an incredible gin with a burst of rhubarb which goes equally well with tonic and ginger ale.
